Fertilizer Registration

Fertilizer Registration

Fertilizer Registration for the state of Nevada is $40.00 per product registered, increasing to $60.00 for the registration year commencing July 1, 2006.  Re-registration forms will reflect this change.  A product label must accompany the form for each new product. Please send new or revised labels only. Please note: In Nevada, when you register any "New" product and it is both a pesticide and a fertilizer, it must be registered at the same time, as both.

Fertilizer Tonnage

Fertilizer tonnage reports are required quarterly. If no tonnage has been sold during the quarter, please indicate such on the form and return it to this office. If you are not responsible for the fertilizer tonnage fees, please submit a listing for who is responsible, their address and fertilizer tonnage amounts sold to them so we may notify them of their tonnage tax responsibility. Tonnage fees for commercial fertilizers and agricultural minerals sold in bulk or package is $0.25 per ton, but agricultural minerals sold in bulk is $0.05 per ton. Payment of the tonnage tax on amounts of $5.00 a less for the quarter are exempt by regulation. However the report filing is still required.
THE TONNAGE REPORT FORMS ARE SENT OUT QUARTERLY.
